SARTEANO
Taking the road towards the Monte Cetona, you reach the old
village Sarteano which still preserves its charming medieval architecture.
Built around the 11th century and restructured by Sinea in the 15th
century, Sarteano offers the Collegiata church in Piazza San Lorenzo,
built in the 12th century with material from the Romans and the
church of San Martino in Foro, which today features a Neo-classic
façade from the 19th century.
