CASCIANA TERME
Casciana Terme is a charming thermal and tourist centre which
is located on a hill surrounded by olive and fruit trees. The envious
position and the benefit of its thermal water made it become a privileged
centre for relaxing stays a long time ago.

| Founded
in the XI century, Casciana was the centre of an ancient parish church
dedicated to Santa Maria delle Acque and it was known already by the
Romans for the thermal water. Today the spas in Casciana are modern
and functional, equipped with all the apparatus needed for check ups
and therapies, apart from offering pleasant moments wellbeing and
aesthetic treatments. In the neighbourhood you find the Castello di
Perlascio, known since the XI century and perhaps built by Matilde
di Canossa, and th eCastello del Gello Mataccino, built around 1550
on one of the hills that surround Casciana. |
