TRESANA
Tresana was an important centre during the Middle Ages, also
thanks to the fact that it got the permission to coin the coins
for the Emperor Massimiliano in 1577. But the forging of coins next
to the castle soon became a forge which made false money and therefore
the Pope Clemente VIII excommunicated the king of Tresana, Guglielmo
Malaspina. Among all the castles plotted in the surroundings you
ought to visit the one at Villa, recently restructured and furnished
by the owner.
